About Me
Hey!
My name is Eszter, I am a 23-year-old girl from Hungary, studying international business.
Things that describe me the most in a nutshell /longer introduction is better to be done personally/:
- mainly solo traveller, but I really like meeting random new people during my trips
- I love meaningful talks both about general and specific topics
- unappeasable curiosity towards life and experiences
- animal lover - be it a furry cute one, a snake, a bird... anything, except insects
- tea lover. really. tea is life
- in love with nature! hiking, big walks, boattrips, stargazing in a field, watching sunrises and sunsets are my favourite activities
- always up to doing any kind of crazy things. My mom is sometimes wondering how can I be still alive... :)
- trying new foods of nations, getting to know new cultures thus people, taking part in as many things as possible to make memories
- enthusiastic girl who is taking all the chances that life offers
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I'm in love with getting to know new cultures, just as new people, and Couchsurfing offers the two possibilities at the same time!
Sharing worldviews, having whole-night-long conversations about big and small things.
Interests
Besides traveling in my home country and abroad as well, I enjoy reading books, hiking in the hills, having big walks in the city and petting cute animals.
Skating, cycling and skiing are fun as well. I like dancing, however, I am an awful dancer... :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: all genres, but I mostly listen to pop-rock and rock, but when partying, disco and house are also cool
Book: mainly psychological ones, also some travel-related stuff
Movies: I enjoy movies that make me think after I watched. Psyhological, psycho-horror, adventure, horror are my favourite ones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My life is full of amazing things, but to mention the craziest ones:
- I visited the northernmost inhabited city in the world, on half way between Norway and the North pole! (Longyearbyen in Svalbard)
- Parachuting. Everybody should taste the feeling of jumping out of a helicopter from 4000 metres. When you can feel the NOTHING under you... indescribable.
- Standing on the Kjerag boulder, the rock stuck between two walls at 1000 metres high above the Norwegian fjords.
- I survived in the Lappish winter (-37 °C etc...)! ♥
- I volunteered in Belarus and taught English to awesome children.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not a good cook unfortunately, but I really love trying other nations' cuisines, so I am ready to learn about them and try to cook together. :D
Teaching each other some words of our language would be fun as well.
If you are coming to my place, I can share my food with you and you will get bed linen and towels too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Share of experience, nice conversations, and I would take some part of the housework of course. And I can bring some typical Hungarian sweets for you if I'm going directly from Hungary! :)
