About Me

I'm from Carapicuíba, SP born and raised.
I teach English for a living and have a passion for the language.
I love music, movies, and going to the theater. I also love visiting new places, meeting people and learning about/from them, specially by just listening.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because some friends recommended it to me, and it's a great way to meet good people. Exactly what I was looking for. I believe that people who are here are opened to share and learn with and from other people, and to host someone at your home or being received at someone else's is a lovely way of doing so. I'd love to have people from all different places of the globe and to be received at other people's homes, as well

Interests

Music, movies, theater plays, local markets, and talks of any kinds.
I've been playing quite a lot of chess lately, I've also been reading about it
Maybe that's something I can teach, too. You don't have to be that good to teach someone how to play :P

Music, Movies, and Books

The art of loving; A arte de amar; El arte de amar (Erich Fromm)
Movies, can't name one..
Music, I love music, in general. Aristotle said: "Music is heavenly, by nature divine..." and I do believe in that
One band I've been listening to and going to concerts since 2009 is Groundation, kind of a regga-jazz fusion. The musi, the message, can't get sick of them

Teach, Learn, Share

English is one thing I can teach for sure, as to anything else, I can't really say that.
We all know things, simple or complex, and sometimes we teach people things without even noticing that.
About learning and sharing, what can I say? There's just too much..

What I Can Share with Hosts

A pleasant company, the willing to talk and share thoughts
Going for a ride or on a tour, too, whenever possible

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil
