I was born and raised in Alaska. I attended one year of university at the University of Alaska Southeast which led me to take a year abroad on student exchange to Australia. One year turned into 3 years where I started and finished my graphic design bachelor's in Victoria, Australia. I spent last year (2015) travelling to Indonesia and Thailand and this year (2016) I'll be Au Pairing in Italy for 3 months.

Growing up in Alaska I love doing anything outdoors including hiking, ice skating, kayaking and ocassionally skiing. I am a laid back, open minded person that loves adventure and trying new things. I also love eating, camping and meeting new people. Though I love being social I also enjoy quiet time to myself reading or drawing.

While I'm not travelling I'm making money to travel being a barista, bartender and a waitress.

When I'm traveling I love getting to know the culture from locals so I can get a genuine taste of how other people live. Locals also know awesome places that aren't as touristy and can give you tips and tricks of the trade.

Coach cheerleading at my old highschool and watch this particular group of girls fall in love with a new sport and go from being begginers to absolute rock stars. I love changing lives and making a difference in my small home town community.

Another amazing thing I have done was go on exchange to Australia from America. It was such a humbling and eye opening experience I highly recommend anyone who is contemplating about studying abroad to take the leap and just go. I learned so much about myself and what I can do. It was the best decision I have ever made and it started my love for travelling.
