I was born in Chicago, but moved to Sarajevo at the age of 2. I have travelled the most part of Europe and have ambitions to travel through Asia in the future. I am currently a PhD student at KU Leuven and am a medical doctor, it's always convenient to have a doctor around the house. 😉
I like to talk about travelling, movies, psychology, technology, events and essentially am interested to learn something new from everyone I meet and consider every new acquaintance makes me richer in a sense.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I fell in love with this concept because apart from travelling to a foreign country, you get to meet a person who knows the flow of the city, is engaged in everyday life and can tell you much more than you can google. I want the authentic tourist experience, and that's why I'm on here. I love to talk to people and get to know all about them, talk about pressing topics for all of us and so on and so forth. I'm also very respectful, and if you don't even want to talk to me that's ok as well.

Interests

I love travelling and meeting new, interesting people
I love nature and everything about it; I love hiking and swimming and would love to try bungee jumping and everything that will make my adrenaline levels surge.

I like lots of music but some highlights could be: the beatles, simon and garfunkel, ludovico einaudi, pink floyd, bob dylan, leonard cohen

I'm a total cinephile watched every movie since the dawn of time but some of my favorites are: woody allen, yorgos lanthimos, quentin tarantino, martin scorsese, ingmar bergman, wes anderson, ruben ostlund, alain resnais, buñuel..

When it comes to books, I like philosophy, science fiction, psychology and then crime and romance for some light reading. I also really like comic books.
