Hi! I’m on my last year of University, studying Translation and Interpreting and Linguistics, so I’m broadly interested in everything involving languages and its cultures and people. I’m also on my last year of Music degree at the Conservatory of Music, combining both studies over the last years.

I consider myself as a curious person, always wanting to learn new things about practically everything. I’m also very social, I’m the happiest when I’m spending some good time with friends and it always involves music and laughter!

Interests

As a translator I’m interested in everything about languages, their history, how a language works, what makes a language an actual system... languages are alive because they’re spoken and those who speak a language are the living portrait of a language themselves, so I think it’s vital to be in contact and communicate with people who “are” that language.

My other passion is music, specifically opera for I’m study to become an opera singer sometime. I’d love to share my knowledge on this subject if you are interested. A lot of my friends hadn’t really heard any music of this sort before they knew me and now they’re always asking when and where the next concert will be :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to classical music and I love every gender, but mostly I listen to Strauss, Rossini, Verdi, some Donizetti and Bellini, I’m currently working on some Händel, Mozart and Vivaldi, etc... Although I listen to practically everything, from Frank Sinatra to Queen and I also love musicals.

I cannot really pick a favorite movie or book. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, I think I like every movie starring Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman or Tom Hanks.

I also playa the piano (not high level though) and the ukelele.
