I am fascinated with world causes, the international system, equality, justice, self-determination for all peoples, and any solution that would be consistent with these goals. I long to do passionate things in my career in order to, yeah, not joking, save the world! I started living for my dreams long ago, while never forgetting the importance of building a community of love around me. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live life to the fullest, and the way I see it, it means being happy, sweet, kind, and sharing joy, we're so lacking in this times thinking we've got to be better than eachother. We've got to get back to being people, neighbour to neighbour.

CS is the way to do it - truly taste cultures and not just stand in front of the Eiffel tower with a Starbucks Venti. Love and energy flows! An opportunity to create a worldwide family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not long ago, right after turning 18 I left Portugal alone with a backpack and moved to Thailand in an humanitarian mission - in order to create and develop a project in the fields of education and poverty alleviation by dealing with children and communities in social danger. Allow yourself to change.

I developed a sense of comfort anywhere I go: feeling like a Citizen of the World. The only place I belong to is where I am at that moment.

Looking back, the only things that ever mattered was when I was brave.

There's enough drudgery in the world that people may think that there's no good left, but we've got to think outside of that sphere, because we're bigger than that. Everyday we have is a chance to contribute.
I volunteer a lot, and I always try to share that vision, the importance of contributing to something bigger than myself.

I feel like I'm someone who tries to understand people. I feel like if we all did that more often, we'd see a lot more positivism in this world. Someone told me that if you knew everyone's story you'd like everyone.

In that way, I can share who I am, what I´ve learned along the way, the cultures I've visited, the languages I've learned, the crazy stories and adventures I randomly engaged in, lessons, advices, love and friendship. Ah, and I also cook pretty damn well.
