I am a 69 years old retired teacher ......i live in bilbao (basque coumtry) and i also spend some time in Logroño (la Rioja) where i have a nice flat.
iI have a married daughter living in barcelona , mother of my three great grandsons .and a bachelor son living near logroño and always travelling a lot, because of his work,...I have always enjoyed meeting new people and hosting friends , my own and those of my children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have also liked travelling and i think this couch surfing communiy offers the possibiliy of travellling and meeting people in the places you want to visit and take advantage of the inside information they can provide.
I suppose the people i might host are broad minded, respectful and willing to learn about our ways and be enlightened whererever they need to and i expect to find the same behaviour in the people that might host me wherever i choose to go.
