About Me
Hello, there! I'm Marta Cunha Grilo, a passionate traveler whose biggest dream is to be a travel journalism and I'm already working on it. I have a travel blog in which I write about my adventures and experiences. I travel every time I can. Last year, I finished my bachelor in Jornalism, in Lisbon, and then I decided to take a break and do a gap year. I traveled all across Portugal in a Van for 4 months promoting the concept of gap year, I did a 2 month volunteer project in Kutaisi, Georgia (country not state) and I went on a solo journey for 3 months to Mexico and Florida.
Learning languages is also my cup of tea. I can speak fluently English and Spanish, apart from my native language (Portuguese), and I can speak a little bit of French and Italian.
I believe that travel can really change a person's life and everyone should be paying more attention to its benefits.
CURRENTLY
Studying Travel Journalism in Barcelona
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I mention above, I love to travel so couchsurfing is definitely an amazing option when you really want to get to know a culture better, have a great time with locals and save money while traveling. I found it to be one of the best ways to really become aware of a new place. Hosts usually show you things that you can't find on google :)
