About Me
I've done a couple times of couchsurfing but regret to say that I am not ready to accept any guest yet to give back to couchsurfing community because I am still living together with my family and does not own a house to do couchsurfing yet. (My parent do not quite understand the concept of having a tourist in our home)
But do try to reach me out if I could help you out with any arrangement in term of accommodation, transportation, travel package to book in advance etc.
I am a people person, I like talking and meeting new people, but sometimes I do enjoy a moment on own as well, i.e. enjoying music on my car journey home everyday from work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me, travelling is not about how much exploring new places, trying all the delicious food, and taking fantastic photo only. It about the experiencing the culture, how it differ from where you lived. It is not worth the money you spend if you travel as a tourist, go to the best tourist spot and take couple of photos, stay in an affordable hotel. It's about gaining perspective and really understand a new culture, which I believe Couchsurfing can help me with that!
Well, everyone loves travelling but being in a country that has relatively weaker currency, travelling would cost a significant portion of our savings or hard works. Which is why, I especially appreciate that Couch Surfing community allows me to travel in a more cost efficient way, but you think I am all about getting a free accommodation? Bear in mind that not everyone is willing to sleep on couch, hitch hiking when they decided to spend on an expensive flight ticket going overseas! Not everyone would want to go to a new place and not visiting all those important landmarks and check ins and I am definitely the one who could just spend an afternoon in a coffee shop watching as the people in new places carry out their own activities. (Just like my elder brother would never agrees on the way I travel, he thinks travel should be relaxing instead of "torturing" like what I do)
Interests
I'm a sporty person who enjoyed basketball and badminton, with some artistic past time like self learning piano, playing the Malaysia famous 24 festive drum! (But I stop doing that for a while already)
And of course travel! Who doesn't like to travel right?!
I like music a lot too

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Most of the time I listen to English and Chinese song with my favorite band being Maroon 5 and Wang Leehom as my idol since secondary school.
Music is a very important element in my life that I would be willing to invest to get some quality one.
Share me one song that you like and I would try to listen to it. And for you, try this:
"Hollywood - the Black Skirt" (A korean song but I love this whole song very much without really knowing what is the meaning of the lyric, but I just love listening to it as I drive, or whenever I am alone)
Movies:
Action movie attracts me the most but I prefer English movie than Chinese one unless it is a Jackie Chan movie! I do not usually visit cinema for movie though. Not a fan of scary movie.
Books:
Not my thing to do. I tried to read some motivational one before like "7 Habits of highly effective people". But I do realize reading brings good.
I will force myself to read someday I guess.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If only ONE Amazing thing to be written in this section, it is definitely gonna be the three and a half month work & travel experience in United States.
This is where I experience a lot of "first time" in my life such as couch surfing experience, hitch hiking, and even did some extreme hike that I won't get to do in Malaysia. And this is that one time I travel alone, braced through 44 hours of buses, hours of Amtrak crossing from west to east of US.
This experience is still giving me the fuel I need until today whenever I feel tired.
Teach, Learn, Share
If we gets to meet, I probably too young to teach anything but I am always open to learn anything new, especially culture of the places that I am visiting. Fast learning is my strength.
If I really have to teach anything, we can talk about anything that I have self-learned so far and see if any of these can be taught! haha
As for sharing, I can always share my personal solo adventures that I did before I start committing into developing career. Oh but starting a career does not stop me from continuing to explore the world (I hope!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
The Malaysian culture with topic of any range like places to visit, foods to eat, politics, cultures and so much more!
We could talk about the Malaysian invented 24 festive drum as well, I was once a player and leader of the 24 festive drum team.
If my adventure interest you, I am more than willing to share about the amazing experience I had throughout the three month and half in US.
