About Me

I'm a 22 year old guy with a life ahead of me, aspiring for geographical independence and awesome experiences. I am still unsure whatever career I'm supposed to be in, but one thing's for sure: I want to spend all my years traveling.

I am currently on my last year of Architecture, and after getting my degree I most probably will not practice it, and will instead try to learn Culinary Arts, teach English, study Production Design, or something completely different. I am confident that traveling and meeting people will expand my horizons and would eventually make me decide. However, I think I'm willing to try all of them though.

I'm trying to understand this world a little better by trying to see it from different perspectives. I have had some of the most significant changes in my entire belief system just because I've met people who don't share the same culture with me and made me realize that the world is even bigger and more fascinating than the way I see it.

I have a whole list of things I want to accomplish in my life, and it grows even longer by the day! It includes, but is not limited to, be fluent in Spanish, be a great surfer, learn how to play the guitar and perform on the street, taste every cheese in the world and be able to tell the difference, learn scuba diving, and be a triathlete.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling to other places is awesome in itself. But getting a more in depth experience through staying with locals is even better. You get to know the local traditions, best places to visit and eat, and you might even make friends that you'll cherish for life.

Hosting is awesome too because it's always great to have guests around and getting to know them and where they came from. How life is back home, where they go from here. And it's always fun to show guests around the city.

As I've read somewhere before, surfing gives you a local perspective, and hosting gives you a global perspective.

I'm fairly new to Couchsurfing, but so far the experience has been awesome!

I hosted these amazing people:
Zhu from China - November 2016
Dennis from Russia - November 2016

I surfed at these generous people's homes:
Alvin and Kevin at Cebu, Philippines - October 2016

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of classical, pop, soul, alternative rock, EDM, R&B. But I am willing to listen to anything really.

Artists that I'm listening to right now include Troye Sivan, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran. I will never, ever get tired of listening to Coldplay though.

Movie genres that I like include comic book, spy, suspense, action, adventure, drama, and musicals. I think horror movies are an utter waste of money.

David Fincher, Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuaron, and Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu are among my favorite directors.

I read novels and write poetry. I absolutely adore Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, Yann Martell's Life of Pi, and The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.

I love TV shows too! Game of Thrones, Friends, Homeland, The Americans, Masters of Sex (haha, it's not about THAT, just google it), 24, How To Get Away With Murder, and Stranger Things are among my favorites.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have quite a broad knowledge (I spend most of my days lost in Youtube and Wikipedia, and in the process, I discovered that there's a place called Fucking, Austria) but don't have a particular discipline I'm proficient at besides Architecture. So we really could talk about anything and I could give you some tips on home decor, and space planning.

I feel really enthusiastic about learning new knowledge and skills, so it would be amazing if you can share some of your skills too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very attentive listener and a good conversationalist so expect to spend lots of time sharing stories with me.

I am quite good at board games, especially Scrabble, Boggle, and whatever word games you have. So if you have ones at home, prepare to get your ass kicked. Haha.
