Couchsurfing just allows you to discover a place you stop by and its people.
Rather than just passing through it, you can hear stories about the city/region/country and get to know underrated (underground) places.

Centres d'intérêt

I enjoy indoors activities such as watching TV series (there is just so much to be seen), jamming to music or drawing.
When I do go out it's mostly to grab a coffee or beers with friends (we play cards a lot), to go and shake it off at a club or to go see a movie. I also like walking around not knowing where I'm going and chill in parks.
I've been camping for as far as I can remember and I just love it. I rockclimb as well.

Prisoners is likely to be my favourite movie, Denis Villeneuve (Enemy, Arrival, Blade Runner 2049) my favourite director. Alongside Tim Burton (Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd, Beetlejuice, Ed Wood, Mars Attacks)
I'm also into Lord of the Rings.
Some movie which scarred me: Dead Poets Society, 7 Pounds, Legends of the Fall, Prisoners, Truman Show ...

TV series:
I watch so many of them, love the format.
Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders, Bates Motel, Vikings, The OA, Stranger Things, Dark, American Horror Story, Misfits, Rick and Morty, Black Mirror, Sherlock, etc.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Spent 7 days roadtripping the Mauritanian desert when I worked there. Camping in a Khaima (typical tent there) each day in a different place in the middle of nowhere, cooking bread and meat in the sand, going fetching wood for the fire, visiting ancient libraries in villages, trying to avoid scorpions.

I'm be down to learn words from any language really (or even sentences if you're great at teaching haha), especially German. If you have cool spots to show me in Strasbourg as well that'd be great!
