One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saving a dove from a slow death.

On a trip to Amsterdam with my brother and cousin I spottet a dove on the street who was all curled up in a fishnet - the bird could not use it's wings and was sure to die. I went straight for it and after 20 minutes struggeling to get it out from under a car I started to slowly free the dove from it's misery. The fishnet had cut deep into the neck and wings of the bird, it was so sad - but finally after 10 minutes time I had freed it I hold the dove firmly in my hands, looked it right in the eye, lifted my arms up and gave it a little toss up the air and it instantly spread out the wings and flew happily away.
