About Me
A full-time graphic designer about to quit my office life in August and try out "long-term" travelling. I've always believed that you should be in a country for at least 3 weeks to a month to grasp the culture and its unique identity, though sometimes it's not possible when you have other responsibilities in life or if you're climbing the corporate ladder of your career.
And so, I'm embarking on a 5-7 month journey (if my funds allow me to) of self-love, adventures, and meeting people from all walks of life and background.
Basically, it's time for this little bird to leave her concrete jungle, take a career break and start exploring life outside the nest.
On a side note... I can be interesting sometimes, I can be boring sometimes, but most of the time I enjoy a good honest conversation :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here in hopes of meeting people from all around, to truly understand their culture and at the same time exchange whatever life stories since everyone grows up differently, especially in different parts of the world (east meets west eg.) where our cultures and influences are far apart, so yea.
I'm also constantly looking for volunteering opportunities, so I think Couchsurfing might be a good way to start since it's so connected to the people of the world :)
Interests
Probably the usual:
Water sports, yoga, hitting the gym doing random workouts, beach life & tanning, a sucker for movies (not picky), art & film exhibitions. I'm always up to try anything adventurous (outdoor activities), and the random drinks / parties (why not right?).
And if you must know, I'm a singer in the shower. lol.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not that picky but tunes from Kodaline is my kinda music. Other than that, mostly Acoustics and Oldies (goes all the way back to Abba / Neil Sedaka / Paul Anka even tho I'm the start of the 90s haha), certain EDM, House, Hard Style, Electro, Indie.
Here's what I call a good playlist that lifts my mood up and gets me groovin'
(Yup, this is defo my kinda music too):

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Still amazed at how I stepped out of my comfort zone, my little igloo (was never an independent girl), and went solo for the first time in July 2015 to Koh Phangan, Thailand for a good one month and I've never looked back.
Since then, I've solo-ed to Penang and Chiangmai. Looking forward to many more adventures (this coming Aug 2016 to Jan/Feb 2017)!
Also done sky diving in Perth, so defo 1 off the bucket list!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me your language! Anything really. Cooking....Guitar.... Sewing? haha Basic or not, I'd love to learn. Or we could always learn something new together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Maybe we can do a yoga session together as I might be getting my 200 hours YTT so it would be a good practice for me as well as you! :)
I might also be able to come up with a series of work outs (HIIT) style. If you have kettlebells / or any form of weights, that would be extra awesome though body weight workouts are good enough, so yea! we could exercise together (in the comforts of your home haha)!
And.... If you have Adobe InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop software on your computer, I can share with you my design knowledge (I'm print-based though, so little knowledge on HTML web based stuff) or help you create your namecard etc etc ;)
