About Me

I'm originally from Israel and grew up in Washington D.C. I came to Germany for some different culture and experiences, and now moved back to Israel. I love traveling and discovering new cultures, learning different languages, and meeting locals wherever I go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since my whole life has been a mix of different cultures, languages, foods, etc, I always love meeting new people from around the world to learn more about our cultural differences, and be amazed by how much we have in common!

Interests

I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, biking, camping (though I don't get to do that so often). I also love cooking and baking- especially for friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical preferences range anywhere from Classic Rock to boybands...

I enjoy Sci-Fi and Fantasy a lot, love musicals, and have a weird soft spot for Superhero movies, no matter how terrible they are. Naming a favorite movie is hard...

I don't read as much as I'd like to or should, but some favorites are Good Omens, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials and Tigana. (I did say I like fantasy)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied underwater archaeology in Haifa, Israel for my Masters, and as part of the program I took part in a week-long underwater archaeological survey off the Northern coast in Israel. Pulling a piece of a 2000-year-old jar out of the Mediterranean is pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to cook or bake- I love both, and I collect recipes and skills wherever I go.

I love learning new things- words, facts, skills, anything. Lately I've been teaching myself how to code.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I've had some pretty interesting experiences in my life so far- I've travelled around, I've lived in a few different countries, and I've picked up a few things along the way. I'd love to share stories, jokes, fun facts, phrases and food.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
