Hi everyone,

I'm Eva from the Netherlands. I grew up in Zwolle but have been living and studying in Amsterdam for the last 5 years. I absolutly love Amsterdam and I am a major foodie so if you need to know the best places for coffee, food or just places in general, i'd love to share my favorites with you so hopefully you'll enjoy Amsterdam as much as I do.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Even though I like my own city a lot there is nothing better for me then escaping the comfort zone and traveling to other countries and cultures. I think to experience the real feeling and vibe of a city, it is always best to see it through the eyes of a local. Besides that I love meeting new people from other places and learn from eachothers experiences and cultures.

A few years ago when I was traveling in Italy I used couch surfing a few times and I had the best experiences everytime. So whenever possible I'd love to go couch surfing again. I won't be able to host anyone at the moment because I am traveling a lot and don't have a own space in Amsterdam at the moment. But when I come back and find a place with enough space i'd love to start hosting.

Intereses

- My biggest passion is cooking. I worked in a kitchen for a long time and now that I am mostly traveling I try to learn as many new things as possible.

- Traveling, for me it is the best way of feeling free and happy

- I love animals (it is always a struggle not to take a animal home instead of a souvernir).

- Dancing, even though I am terrible at it I still love it.

- Music, everything is just better with a bit of music

- Going to festivals, because it's the perfect combination of hanging out with friends, dancing, music happiness, and meeting new people.

- Riding a motorbike an amazing nature

Música, películas y libros

Probably to many to list here, I mostly listen to soft indie, disco, country, house/techno, disco. I think almost every music can be good as long as it is in the right moment.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I travelled to Thailand to see a friend there and we did the most amazing tour on motorbikes. We met so many interesting people on the road and in the hostels we stayed. The whole journey was just incredibly beautiful in so many ways.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can share the culture of my country and tell you all about it, learn you the basics of my language, (not that you will ever use it because no one speaks dutch but still fun right?).
I can also teach you some cooking skills since I went to culinary school before going to university and cooking is still one of my favorite things to do.

Other then that I can share a lot of positive energy and hopefully we can share a good time.
