I feel like I'm one day nearer but for what? Photography. Erasmus. The World.

There are things that cannot be explained. They have to be felt, and I first felt them through my mother holding her camera.

There are few photos of her in my youth. When she takes a picture, she thinks it, and waits for perfect image of reality. I admire her natural talent.

I got my love of art from her. As far back as I can remember things always became clearer for me with a pencil and paper. Drawing was my way of escaping. Now it's photography.

When I travel I always take my cameras and my scrapbook where I draw and keep all I see that makes me look at the world in a different way. When I flip through the pages I get a comforting feeling coupled with a yearning for those moments from my past. I reflect upon what is before me.

Every trip I take I change the way I see, think and feel.
When I meet people, see places and become involved in different cultures I feel like I'm building my edifice. With my camera I have the privilege of keeping a part of my experiences forever. With every day that goes by I gain a new perspective just by looking back at those pictures.

Now, more than ever, I feel.
