About Me
My name is Fernando I'm from Chiapas Mexico. I'm studying a bachelor in business administration in Universidad del Valle de México. I'm in a swimming team and love running. I like traveling to new places.
Since August I will be part of an interchange program with a Peterborough university. This is my first time for solo traveling. kind of excited and anxious. hope this season works.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a humble person. I don't like hotels and luxury things. I rather being with friends than with maids. I want to learn everything about my host's culture. I have watched different videos and blogs of solo traveling and they all recommend to stay local. I want to acquire knowledge, independence and friends worldwide.
Interests
Swimming, traveling, running, studying business sciences, listening music, dancing in clubs, live having fun with friends, eating is my desire. Business, and entrepreneurship. Languages and learning about different worldwide cultures.

Harry potter is my hit in books and movies. Love listening to Coldplay, foster the people and two door cinema club. Love listening new music on the Spotify playlists too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have won two different scholarships to travel the last two years. one was to New york and the second, on 2015, was to Chicago and Washington DC.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach English as a second language in my home town. I take online clases for a doble degree. I am learning Chinese mandarin and hoping to travel there someday
What I Can Share with Hosts
My purpose when traveling would be to bring different presents and memories from my hometown. Mexicos is better known for its variety of their culture, language and traditions. I have many good stories to share and many new ones to listen from my hosts.
