Hello every couch surfers. It's really nice to meet you at all. My english name is Joe. You can also call me a cup of joe. It's my nick name. For me couchsurfing is a kind of adventure. I'm 27 years old now and I'm still a college student.
My major is electrical engineering but I think my personality is not that well suited to my major haha. I am outgoing and always like smiling.
But most of all, regarding the purpose of why I'm writing this, I would like to learn about and experience other cultures, and as well as get to know people that I haven't met before.

Knowing (learning) how they think and (about their) what philosophy(ies) they have is really important to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said before in the article "about me", I really want to learn how people think and act in certain situations, and by exchanging our thoughts I am eager to broaden my depth of understanding of how many diverse thoughts there are in this whole world.
I think it is really important in surviving this tough world to understand and embrace the other thoughts that are totally different with mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really really like classical music and pop music. My favorite composers are Chopin and Beethoven.
Because I played piano since I was 8years old, I think that my personal experience lead me to fall in love with music.
Also, I am almost crazy about American pop star like Eddie vedder, Simon and Garfunkel, Moroon5.... hard to mention all of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I Took the college entrance exam called "sue neoung (수능)" more than 5 times to enter a prestigious college. There is a long story behind this, and this could be a topic for a longer story that I can tell you if your are interested. because this is deeply related to Korean culture with general thoughts of korean.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to listen up life story from older. That's why I possibly try to choose a host who have family. If every utensil and materials are equipped to cook I wanna introduce korean traditional food. xHowever I am not sure whether you would be satisfied or not.
