Currently, I am writing PhD research proposals. I've just graduated from Lund University. My major is anthropology and before I graduated from math and sociology. I try to keep a childish curiosity towards life and I am a passionate person if I believe something enough to do it.

Generally, I don't like to use the map and I like to discover and analyze new things when I am lost on the roads like Walter Benjamin's 'flaneur'. Also, I have an ability to walk for a long time like Forrest Gump :))

I like reading books, writing, watching documentaries and walking. I like nature and naturality so much! I am not a party person but I think everything as an observation. I am an understanding person for people's preferences. The crowded, loudness and artificiality are not for me but except for these, I am easy going person.

I think it's very hard to explain about self for a person., uyh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to learn new cultures especially with their words. I want to discover new places, new people. This provides people to have knowledge about differences and when a person start to travel they become an open-minded person. So we should surpass the borders to live in peace!

To meet new people on the roads is so nice I saw this, especially to trust and to help each other should be keep going!

Music, Movies, and Books

'Life is Beautiful' and 'Dead Poets Society' are favourite movies for me.

I like all Kieslowski's film and in Turkey, my favourite director is Nuri Bilge Ceylan. Also Charlie Chaplin has different importance for me. Moreover I like to watch Persian directors' movies (Majid Majidi, Bahman Ghobadi etc.)

Le Guin, Dostoyevski, Kafka are my favourite writers. Also, I like to read psychological books; Eric Fromm, Lacan, Irvin D. Yalom etc. I am interested in philosophy and literature, too.( For instance; works of Bourdieu, Foucault and Shakespeare )

These are not enough I write only specific names here because I like to discover new things, types of music, movies and books. I don't prefer horror films and Hollywood comedy.
My favourite bands are The God is an Astronaut, Opeth, Pink Floyd. Especially Yann Tiersen's and Ludovico Einaudi are my favourite performers.
