Hey,
ich bin Janek (he/him) und ich lerne gerne neue Orte und vor allem neue Menschen kennen.
Aufgewachsen bin ich in der Nähe von Freiburg am schönen Schwarzwald, habe 5 Jahre in Halle (Saale) gelebt und wohne jetzt in Kiel.
Ich interessiere mich für viele Dinge und bin auch immer offen was neues auszuprobieren. Ich koche gerne, gehe super gerne raus in die Natur, mache gerne Teamsport und bin immer offen für Gespräche über dieses und jenes. Im Studium, wie auch im Privaten, beschäftige ich mich viel mit Community-Konzepten und Solidarität. Ich bin gerne unter Menschen, liebe das urbane Treiben und gehe sehr gerne Tanzen und Feiern.

Viele Jahre meines Lebens bin ich schon getrampt, habe super liebe Menschen durch Couchsurfing kennengelernt und plane jetzt nach längerer Zeit mal wieder zu Backpacken. Gerade das einfache Reisen hat es mir angetan, weil man dort immer herzliche Begegnungen hat und tolle Menschen trifft.

Selber bin ich schon Gast und Gastgeber auf Couchsurfing gewesen und freue mich meine CS-Erfahrung zu erweitern.

Hey,
I’m Janek (he/him) and I love getting to know new places — and especially new people.
I grew up near Freiburg in the beautiful Black Forest, lived in Halle (Saale) for five years, and now I’m based in Kiel.
I’m interested in many things and always open to trying something new. I enjoy cooking, love spending time outdoors in nature, like playing team sports, and I’m always up for conversations about anything and everything. In my studies as well as in my personal life, I spend a lot of time thinking about community concepts and solidarity. I enjoy being around people, love the buzz of urban life, and really enjoy dancing and going out.

I’ve spent many years of my life hitchhiking, have met wonderful people through Couchsurfing, and am now planning to go backpacking again after quite some time. Simple, low-key travel has really grown on me because you always encounter warm-hearted people and meet great personalities along the way.

I’ve already been both a guest and a host on Couchsurfing and I’m excited to keep expanding my CS experience.
