Hi! My name is Laetitia and I grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. On September 2013, I moved to Rome in Italy where I lived and studied for two years, and since October 2015 I am living in Milan, Italy. I speak fluently french (that is my mother language), english and italian. I also learned german at school but I forgot almost everything!
I am a very active girl, enthusiast and optimistic about almost everything, but people say I'm also a bit on my own planet sometimes :) it's because I'm a dreamer probably!
I am passionated about the body-mind relationship and that's why I decided to study sport psychology and wellness psychology. I also have a diploma as a fitness & wellness trainer. My objective is to help people reach the top of their potential either on the performance than on the well-being level, using as much as possible the body-mind relationship.
As you can imagine, during my free time I like to do sport (mountain bike principally but also fitness, boxe, swimming, running and I'm slowly thinking about starting triathlon, a sport that is totally fascinating me).
I also like to have a walk in the nature, either in the mountains than by the sea or by the lake. I have a deep connection to nature that I consider the third wheel of wellness (feeling good with your body, with your mind, with your environment; everything is connected).
I also love animals, I have a cat that is called Zelda and I am volunteering at the national animal protection organisation (ENPA). (But I'm not vegetarian even if I don't eat so much meat ^^')
I love meeting new people, it's quite easy for me to talk to someone I don't know (this is what happens when you move alone into a new country, you get used to that!). I am quite easy-going, it's very hard to make me angry. And even if I'm very social, I also enjoy my moments of loneliness, that I dedicate to sport, art (I write since I'm 12yo and I also like to paint) or meditation.

I am not a big traveller but it has been more for economical reasons than motivational ones! My dream has always been to visit Japan. I would also really like to see Brasil and Australia. But unfortunately until now I could just allow myself to make some trips in Europe and particularly Italy. I say unfortunately, but it's not the right word, because they were amazing experiences! As a mountain biker, I travelled a lot to reach MTB races to do them or just watch them.
I also discovered cyclotourism that I really enjoy!

I am on Couchsurfing because I think this is the best way for a traveler to discover the country "from inside", seing directly how locals live! And I also think it could give me a chance to travel further, something that I have never done until now for economical reasons.
On my side, I think I could help travellers discover my countries (Switzerland, Italy, but also Belgium where my mother comes from).
