Hi! I'm Burak. I'm living in Turkey. I'm studying on Dokuz Eylul University and my department is Public Administration. I'm the board member on Carreer and Management Society. This is a student society in my university. I want to record some video for this society. Because last year I was in the International Relations Coordinatiorship. And we were trying to contact some student societies from different countries. I love traveling so much. But It's my first time in United States. I came with some cultural exchange programme. Programme's name is Camp America. I'm working as asistant cook in YMCA Camp Mi-Te-Na. And we are everyday making meal for 200 kids. After the camp I want to travel. When I back to my country I'll rent a home with my friend. If you guys come to İzmir/Turkey. I want to invite you to my home. I hope you would like to welcome me at your home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from different cultures. It's my first abroad experience. And I want to stay with people from different cultures for cultural exchance. I want to see the people lifestyles.

Interests

I love cooking so much and I think I'm good at this. Travel it's meaning too many things for me. Actually I was thinking about the buy some tent and camping in some beach. Because I love camping. I was dancing 6 months ago. I went to salsa course. That was fun but I wasn't have a spare time. I love playing guitar. I have a acoustic guitar and when I go back to home from school I'm playing guitar an hour.

I don't like to listen popular musics. Generally I'm listening old things. Like a Pink Floyd. I love to watching movie. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty might be my favorite movie. And I love Forrest Gump, The Intouchables, Amelie, The Giver etc... Luke Rhinehart - `The Dice Man` might be my favourite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did rafting on Koprulu Kanyon. Koprulu Kanyon is a canyon and a National Park in the Province of Antalya/Turkey. It was so funny. I was so excited. And I came to United States. This is amazing thing for me. I'm far from my home 10000 kilometers.
