Overview
About Me
I'm a 22 year old guy living in a flat in Linköping. I'm sociable and fun to hang out with, I guess. I like to have deep conversations with people about interesting and somewhat important topics, as I like to hear others opinion on things that I find fascinating. I also like to talk about total crap as well, so I'm sure we could have some fun talks.
I'm a pretty chill guy that doesn't mind people being themselves. As long as you respect me I will respect you. I love everyone who's compassionate and has their hearts in the right spot. I love people of all sexualities, religions, races, skin colors and so on, as long as you're kind to others.
EDIT: I had to move back to my family, so I can't host anyone right now. But when I find a new flat I will be hosting again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to discover the world by traveling to different places and meeting people from different countries. I'm planning a few big (and smaller) trips with the help of couchsurfing.com, as I see this as a huge opportunity to visit places that I would never be able to without this kind of website, as I'm not that wealthy.
I also love the idea that I can share my home with someone who needs somewhere to crash during their adventures. If you would like to stay in Linköping, maybe during a roadtrip through Sweden, you're always welcome here.
I've been stuck in my comfort zone for way too long and always been such a coward when facing the unknown. I want to change that now by traveling to new places and staying with people that I've never met, preferably without company with me. I don't want to be scared and insecure anymore, I'm done with that crap.
Interests
I absolutely love music. I play the guitar and bass myself, and constantly listen to songs to either be inspired or relaxed. It's my own kind of therapy.
I also like to watch sports, with football (or soccer, if you're one of those Americans) as my favorite. Arsenal and Stockholm-based team AIK are the clubs that I support.
As I wrote before, I also love to just sit down and talk with all kinds of people. Every person has their own story, and I would love to hear as many as possible. I love to be inspired by amazing people. It's even nicer to chat while having a beer or two, so maybe we could go out and grab some if you would stop by. Or a local bar if I'm staying with you. The more obscure the place and the beverage is, the better - some of my friends call me a hipster for a reason.
I like to just walk around in a town that I've never been in before and just find new things everywhere. Just the feeling that you literally don't know what's around the corner is very exciting to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: It changes during periods, but I have to say that Twenty One Pilots, Damien Rice and Sunset Sons are my top played artists at the moment. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Macklemore and Gorillaz are things that keep showing up in my playlists. I would love if you showed me some of my favorite music, preferably something from your country.
Movies: Anything made by Quentin Tarantino, The Green Mile, Spirited Away and We have to talk about Kevin. Breaking Bad, Sherlock, Homeland, Dexter and Twin Peaks are TV-series that I adore.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Egypt when I was young with a friends family (his father is egyptian) for three weeks, and it was such an amazing and eye-opening experience. We hung out in a city called Tanta, which wasn't adapted to match the interests of tourists. It wasn't anything like Alexandria or Cairo at all - this city was much "rawer". It felt more genuine and "real". It felt like I really lived there during my stay and not just having a vacation, and I learned so much from experiencing their culture by being a part of it. I absorbed everything I could, and that taught me that there's a lot of knowledge to be had by just interacting with someone from another country. That sparked my interest for traveling around the world and to take part of as many cultures as possible, and that's probably why I'm writing this on my new profile on this website. I grew up in a not so wealthy family with four siblings, so we never had the chance to travel to places far away, so I find this website as a huge opportunity that I just have to take to discover the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe I can teach you some basic guitar skillz, or whatever. I can teach you some things about Sweden and it's culture, and how the "typical Swede" behaves. In return you can teach me something cool, like some kind of party trick, something about your own culture - or whatever.
I can waffle on about pyschiatry, if you're interested. I guess I know some about it, as it is what I work with.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you would host me I'm sure we would have a good time together. I like partying, but also just taking it easy and just talk for hours. I would give my hosts the personal space they need as I don't mind walking around the city by myself, even though company is always nice.
