Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Şule. I'm 27 years old and I live in Burdur, Turkey. I'm a lecturer in the department of English Language Teaching at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
My friends say I am friendly, easy going and funny. I love interacting with new people and making friends. I'd like to see new locations, foods, people, cultures.
I try to give respect to everyone whatever their nationality, religion or culture is. I like talking on different topics. I am quite talkative. I like sharing my experiences with others and know about theirs.
I love travelling and discovering new places. My country is big and it is worth coming and visiting here.
Current Mission: to visit every country in the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a an amazing way of meeting new people and hearing all about the countries and their traditions and cultures.
I try to participate as much as I can. I always try to host people even it's a last minute request. I prefer being a CS guest than staying at a hostel to know more about local culture and meeting new people. I try to attend CS weekly meetings in every city I can go.
I've already had good amount of CS experience in short span of time and everyone of them was not just good but great. I have hosted, surfed and met a number of local people in my city. I have made number of friends through CS and every single one of them is so nice.
Interests
There is a very long list. Almost every new thing interests me but my biggest interest is travelling new places, meeting new people and new cultures.
Live my life and see the world and get to know other cultures. Travelling to different places and learning about different ways of life. At the same time; trekking, meeting new people, reading books, listening to music, watching movie.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly, I listen to music especially music that i cannot understand language. In each country i went, i bought some Cds belonged to that country.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Its not a big thing for most of the people on CS but as I come from a country where many people don't prefer going to other countries to travel and even if they travel, they prefer going with a group of friends, its an achievement for me that I traveled alone in many countries.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook Turkish cuisine and Turkish language.
I will be happy to learn your native language and any special skill you have.
We can share our cultures and life experiences especially on being a traveller.
