Overview
About Me
I am a keen marine biologist who loves science, travel and sports. I am a 1/2 english 1/2 spanish who grew up in in Spain and then decided to move to England to do university. After I finished my degree I decided to take some time to gain more field experience before doing a maters and to travel. This is why I lived in Peru and now in the Philippines, while working on some research & marine conservation projects. I am a passionate marine scientist and conservationist who loves his life as I manage to combine the 2 things I love the most: marine science and travelling. I have traveled a bit around central america and a bit around south america as well as in many tropical places (doing some conservation science!). Besides what I do for a living, I am am a very friendly and polite person, who loves sport, music, solo travelling and always on the hunt for a new challenges and experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a very sociable person who always loves to meet new people and travel.
I think couchsurfing is a much more authentic and lovely way to travel because you will get to know people, you will experience a culture from the inside, learn new things and share experiences, and of course make new friends. I also think that through couchsurfing you will understand the true meaning of generosity, sharing and caring, rather by hosting or just by surfing (or by both). Put simply, the exchange becomes more human when money is taken out of the equation.
Also a good exercise to break out of your comfort zone and meet new people!
