What I Can Share with Hosts

My advice to my guests before you come to Samsun, Turkey you should search about our history and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who leaded to our country independency. Samsun is a city with a population over half a million people on the north coast of Turkey. It is the provincial capital of Samsun Province and a major Black Sea Port. The growing city has two universities, several hospitals, shopping malls, a lot of light manufacturing industry, sports facilities and an opera.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk began the Turkish War of Independence here on 19th of May 1919.

19 May Commemaration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports day an annual Turkish national holiday celebrated on May 19 to commemorate Mustafa Kemal's landing at Samsun on May 19, 1919, which is regarded as the beginning of the Turkish War of Independence.
We carry 1919 metres Turkish flag on the streets on May 19. As you come to on May 19 you can join us! It is really amazing:)
