Hi !

I'm a young French woman of nearly 22 years old.
I come from the North of France where we enjoy good Belgian beers and spending time with our friends and family.
I'm a Student in political sciences at "Sciences Po" in Lyon, city in the South East of France, near the mountains. I'm in my third year of studies and I have the chance to live abroad for one year. So I live in Cairo, Egypt. I choose this destination because I want to work in the international relationships sector, especially between Europe and the Arabic World. I've been learning classical arabic for 3 years now and Egyptian Arabic for 6 months.
I love travelling, discovering new places, people, cultures and music !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think that it's the best way to travel.
There's no comparison between travelling and staying in a hotel at night and staying at people's house, meeting them, having their advices about what I should visit in their city and generally in their country.
It's also a great way to be open-minded, by discussing with people about point of view and habits which are different between two cultures.

兴趣

I really enjoy music and festivals, especially reggae ! I like the atmosphere of the events and the people that we can meet there.

I also like to travel, near or far away from my home I don't mind. I like to discover new places and people. Thanks to my studies I have the chance of living abroad for one year so I can easily travel in different countries.

I really enjoy spending time with my friends: hanging out, holidays, restaurant ...

About sport, I'm a huge fan of ski. I'm from the north of France but I study in Lyon. The nearest ski stations are at 30 minutes by car so I can go skiing for one day and go back home at night, it's really great!

音乐、电影和书籍

I like all kind of music such as rock'n roll (The Doors, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits), "Music of the world" as they say (African, South American music)... I use Spotify and the "Week's discovery" playlist, so I often discover new music of all kind.
But mostly, I'm a huge listener of reggae music. I did several reggae festival (Rototom Sun Splash in Spain or Reggae Sun Ska in France) and I often go to concerts or jam.

I mostly read novels: Yasmina Khadra, Khaled Hosseini, Amin Maalouf, Dan Brown, ... I read fiction and detective stories but I prefer novels which are connecting with the history and the reality of a population or a country. I like to read books which entertain and teach me at the same time.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing that I did until now is to live in Egypt for one year and travelling across the area during it.
I've visited amazing sites and landscape such as Petra, the Wadi Rum desert, climbing the Mont Sinai, ... I discover the pleasure of travelling by backpacking.
What I seek in my travels is to meet the locals with their own culture, habits and getting to know them. I also seek landscapes and nature, particularly the mountains of which I'm really found of.
Living in Cairo gives you the taste of the nature, spaces with calm, fresh air and beautiful panorama.
