Hi!

My name is Brais and I am from Santiago de Compostela, Galicia. I just finished my master in Geography and I am going to live in Germany for the next year.

I think of myself as a very warm and open minded person. I enjoy meeting new people from different countries while grabbing a beer, doing sports or just walking. One of my favorite hobbies is travelling, and I try to do so as soon as my budget allows me to do it. I love to learn languages, and to discover the cities without a map, and preferably with locals. Lately I have been improving (surprisingly) my musical skills, and I can proudly say that I can play decent ukelele and pandeireta (galician instrument), and not so decent guitar. I like to do sports, and I can say I have tried a lot of them throughout my life: basketball, tennis, football, swimming, badminton... I have been playing for 5 years in the rugby local team. I also love to eat, and to try new food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think of travelling as a way to interact with the locals from the cities I visit. There is no better way to see a town than with a local, and that´s one of the best reasons to join coachsurfing.
