About Me

Hello :), I am medicine student from Košice in Slovakia, currently on Erasmus internship in Verona, Italy. I just finished my Erasmus study in Warsaw, Poland and since then just can't stop travelling.
I am very new at couchsurfing, but I love exploring the world, travelling and learning new languages. That's why I am here.
Now I am trying to learn italian, Polish and a bit of every language people on Erasmus use.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because meeting the locals while travelling is the best way to travel as they can show you the real country, not only the famous touristic places (but I like the famous touristic places, too). You can get involved to the culture more and find new friends all over the world. And also because it is so much cheaper, what is also important to me, as I am still student :D.

Interests

Besides travelling it is definitely playing the piano.
Sports -basketball.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I really like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and The Lumineers.
From Slovak music I really recommend IMT Smile, Sima Martausová and old slovak band Elán.

On TV I love postapocalyptic sci-fi movies and series, like In time or Divergent, series Revolution, Terranova, Falling skies, Continuum, Alphas. Basically the ones, that often finish after one or two series :D. I also like romantic comedies.

Favourite book - from Czech author Zdena Frýbová (Unnknow reasons) and since childhood Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming near the cliffs at Faro del Caballo in Cantabria, Spain.
And surviving 5 weeks in Spain without speaking Spanish :D, but I am learning this beautiful language now.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cooking skills - we can make some typical slovak food. Good mood, enthusiasm, I can help with cleaning.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Poland, Slovakia
