I'm Anna, I'm 18 years old and I'm from a small town in Bavaria. After passing my A-Levels in July, I'll go on a trip to see the world.
I'm very interested in getting to know other cultures and people, learning how they live and get through their lifes. I like travelling to Austria, where one of my best friends live, and also to France. In Vernon, a small town near Paris lives my host sister I'm visiting every year.
To my world trip: I'm going to start in Reykjavik/Iceland, then New York, Vancouver, Hawaii, New Zealand and at last Australia. I'll be alone and that's gonna be one of the most terrifying things I've ever done before.
But I'm really looking forward to this adventure! :)
After my world trip I want to study sport science at the military.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While Couchsurfing, you'll get to know another side of the country you're visiting. You really get a glimpse on how people spend their lifes and that's what I want to see.
Of course I want to get to know with the real people of the city.

Interests

I like doing sports like Yoga, running, playing volleyball in summer or swimming.
When it's winter, I like to shred in "Kaunertal" with my Austrian friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is German Hip-Hop.. I'm really sorry!
But also folk and other music styles, exept hard styles like metal, hard techno etc.

The best book I've ever read is "The life list". It's about a woman who has to fulfill a list her dead mother left her. The author's called Lori Nelson Spielman.

My favorite movie is Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio. No, I don't like the movie because of Leo, but because it has a very interesting and thought-out plot. It's difficult to understand when you're watching it the first time, but creating and controling your dreams is a magnificent thought.. :)
One of the best TV series is definitely "New Girl"! Jess's very similar to me, but I like the weird combinations of characters in this series. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time in Austria in autumn, the lift was out of order. So we picked our boards and walked up the hill just for one ride. It was insane and very exhausting, but the view on top of the mountain was magnificent and definitely worth it! :)
