Hey!
My name is Roxanne! I'm half Persian, half Jamaican. I currently live in Gothenburg, Sweden where its ALWAYS cold! But I love it. I was actually born in Los Angeles, and used to live in Woodland Hills, but moved to Sweden with my mother when she got married to her high school sweetheart. Currently, I just work so that I can save money to travel! I'm really outgoing, and love trying new things. There is rarely a moment where you'll hear me say no! I love meeting new people and hope to meet more people through couch surfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and even more, I love meeting new people from all walks of life. I plan on moving back to Los Angeles some day, but in the meantime, I plan on traveling around Europe! I am making my way back to Los Angeles during spring/summer so it would be a great way to meet new people.

Interests

I love music. There really isn't a genre that I don't like listening to so it makes it really easy listening to other peoples' music. I'm an artist, although I do admit it has been awhile since I've sketched anything. I originally wanted to become a tattoo artist, but stuck to wanting to become a Forensic scientist. I'm currently trying to learn how to speak Farsi since it is part of my culture, but would also love to learn Spanish and French. Among other things, I really enjoy hiking and taking pictures. I don't really have a camera or take picture professionally, but I always love to capture the moments that make me smile! My favorite game is Black-ops (specifically the first one) so if you've got it, its on! I love trying new things so I'm always up for an adventure!

I can't just pick my favorite music/movie/book because there so many great things out there, how can you just choose one/a couple! I get asked this question a lot and I always get stumped between only picking one or having to sit there for an hour listing pretty much everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done in my life is move to Sweden. It really changes my life and my perception of the world. It allowed me to get out of my bubble and really experience the world for what it is. Moving to Sweden allowed me to travel through Europe and really live.
