I'm just another free spirited backpacker/hitchhiker thirsty for adventure around here!👋🏻 rlly enjoy meeting people, love hearing travel stories and getting inspired by them, learning new languages and about new cultures or politics, even if my adhd ass has never been a good student. What I surely do the best is being cheerful and talkative af, nice to meet you! :) 🏳️‍🌈

We travel because we need to, because distance and difference are the secret tonic to creativity. When we get home, home is still the same, but something in our minds has changed, and that changes everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet up ppl from all around :) I rlly enjoy doing cultural exchanges with ppl, sharing all kind of stuff and some laughs, it's always nice. One of my dreams is to travel around the world visiting friends :D

Interests

As a teacher I'm passionate about education (specifically alternative education), I'm also very much into politics, feminism or ecology. Used to be an ecologist activist on my uni years hehe love hiking and spending time in nature, love animals, drinking tea and veggie food. Besides that, I love everything related with art, I'm quite a bit of a craftaholic!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm addicted to listen to music, and lately I've just starded asking all the friends I make while traveling to share some music from their country with me, I have a huge multinational playlist now :D
I can listen to everything but mostly pagan folk, rock, grunge, punk, indie, pop, funk, techno, psytrance, hardcore, metal, psychedelic... and I'm also kinda cinephile. (ghibli films my favourites, a part from inception, the fight club, Cloud atlas, Amelie, into the wild, the handmaiden)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I fulfilled my childhood dream of traveling to Japan when I was 19, I went as a volunteer to help in a children's home, and I came back the next year to visit the friends I made there.
I became TEDx Kazimierz (Krakow) ambassador, which sounds cool enough to mention it (?)
At 22 I hitchhiked across Czech Republic from Poland by myself, which may not be a big deal but it took me a while to find the courage to do it solo so I'm proud of it :)
Hiked in the Himalayas! (Langtang and Gosaikunda trek)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can act as a guide for those who want to know Barcelona better, from local's point of view, or just hang out, and I can also teach some basic spanish or catalan and its culture. Currently, I can also be a guide in Krakow, while I'm still here (I'm already trained for it) I have a special skill on talking for hours without getting tired :D and I'm a good beer drinker companion!
