Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me the basic mission of couchsurfing is to help other travelers, primarily to aid in expenses.

I do like a cultural exchange as well. To chat, cook a meal, maybe go out for a beer. And, if we click as friends, to go out and hangout around the city.

However, I do not obligate guests to show me the city. It´s nice to offer, but I do not want to feel pressured to have to say yes. And vice versa. I will offer to show guests the city, or invite them out, but if they decline, I understand. :) For me, the basic good of just giving a couch is enough.
