I am now up to adventures and challenges. Lisbon, portuguese wonderful little capital, is getting too tight and familiar. While in Lisbon, I try to live it always differently, trying to discover those «little unexplored things of life» that may be hidden in the city; however, I try, as often as I am able, to flee from Lisbon seeking those adventures & experiences that come with new places, new people, different habits and cultures. I am a bit of a relativist when dealing with life (and I allways have a tiny bit of irony flying around), which only allows me to wonder at life and live it mindfully. So that means I am calm and curious and open to the new.
I expect to share bits of myself with the people I find during my travels, and for them to share bits of their experiences with me, so that we create bonds and contribute to each others identities.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am using couchsurfing since 2014, albeit not with my own account. This year, I am traveling on my own for a month through eastern Europe and I know Couchsurfing enables me to contact with people who want to share experiences and good vibes.

兴趣

I am interested in many things, from botanic to art history. Now, i am a frequent spectator of contemporary dance and a beginner reading dance and performance theory. I do aerical dance, or I try to :). I have just finished a little thesis about contemporary dance teaching in Lisbon on the 90s.
I also translate to portuguese from latin and ancient greek, authors like Julius Caesar, Petronius, Vergil, Horatio & Lucretio.
I am really into nature and wild places, into urban life and movement, into spiritual relation with energies and agnostic mindfulness.
I write sometimes somethings, mostly in Portuguese.

Music
I am naturally driven to classical music (musica sacra, Schütz, Haendel, Bach, Allegri, Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, opera, etc.). I am as well really into electronic music (to dance it), jazz, reggae, portuguese music, Brazilian singers like Caetano or Chico, and much more: i am always willing to hear new things.

Movies
I usually go to the Portuguese Cinemateca to watch some movies on the afternoon. There, I saw some of the most beautiful cinema, like Abfallprodukte Der Liebe/Poussières d'Amour, by Werner Schroeter. I could go on...

Books
My childhood books will always be the Harry Potter saga and Tolkien's books, as well as Le petit prince.
Herberto Helder, Joseph Conrad, Rilke, Oscar Wilde, Jean Genet, and Virgil are some of the authors that changed who I am.
I am currently on a voyage, reading Proust's À la recherche du temps perdu. Another wonderful adventure.
