About Me

My name is Nicole!

Read this article. This is how I feel about traveling:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/stephanie-dandan/why-we-travel_1_b_4776068.html

I was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States when I was just six. I am a passionate, curious, and an outgoing individual who loves new experiences and new people. I am good at anything but routine.

Some places I've traveled to include: Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, South Africa, Canada (Vancouver and Montreal/Quebec), several states in the United States, the Philippines, etc.

"Be curious, not judgmental." -Walt Whitman

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because this is such a good way to learn more about the world and all the wonderful human beings who live in this beautiful planet.
Also, I am finally going back to the Philippines after being away for 16 years. I want travel throughout all of the Philippines and meet/stay with locals to learn and re-discover more of my home country. I also want to speak Tagalog again. I can understand it fluently when people speak to me in Tagalog, but I can't form even one sentence in Tagalog!
