I’m an easy-going, respectful, and curious person who genuinely enjoys connecting with people from different cultures. For me, travelling isn’t just about places — it’s about conversations, shared meals, long walks, and those small moments that make a trip memorable.

I’ve lived and studied in Japan and the UK, and travelling has shaped how I see the world. I’m usually described as polite, independent, and thoughtful — someone who’s happy to explore on their own during the day and share stories in the evening.

I enjoy simple things: walking around new neighbourhoods, hiking, watching films, chatting over food, and learning how locals actually live. I adapt easily to different homes and routines, and I always treat my host’s place with care and respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing years ago and immediately loved the idea — travelling through people, not just destinations.

Some of my best travel memories came from Couchsurfing: cooking together, discovering hidden local spots, spontaneous trips, and long conversations late at night. I believe cultural exchange works best when both sides feel comfortable, respected, and open.

Whether it’s staying together or just meeting up, I value genuine human connection much more than free accommodation.

I enjoy films and dramas — especially when they reflect culture, emotions, or everyday life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling in Akita (Japan), I accidentally got off at the wrong station in the middle of winter and ended up running for almost two hours through deep snow to reach the next town. Exhausting — but unforgettable, and a good reminder that mistakes often become the best stories 😄
