About Me
Hey ! I'm Jérôme, from france. For one year, I volunteered in Armenia and I traveled for the first time in many countries, and I’m now kinda trip-addict ! I'm open-minded and curious about many things, and also a creative, I love to draw ! ;) If you allow me, i might paint for you !
In October 2019, I started a long and exciting journey that brought me through South Asia and now India with my travel buddy, Élise.
We are hitch hikers seeking for new kind of experiences. We do believe in a tourism that doesn’t need money, based on exchange, kindness and solidarity. We are particularly interested in non-touristic area, where we can meet the real life of local, and create real connection with people. We love to volunteer in all the places we crush in exchange of accommodation (if it’s possible).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I can't imagine a trip without meeting people. For me couchsurfing is an interesting tool to reinvent tourism. Let’s escape from the big touristic area, fancy hostels, and enjoy the real life of locals !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been once guided in the moutains of Kharabagh by a small white dog, which new the way better than anyone. He was climbing, swimming, and barking when we didn't walk fast enough. I also loved to bite our shoes. Then When we decided to go back, we found an excavator driver who brought us back to the city. What an amazing day haha !
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really want to learn from the people I meet: learning about them, or learning new skills that they could teach me.
If you host me, I’ll keep asking you on how I could help you. If you don’t let me cook, clean, or help in any ways... I’ll probably paint for you ;)
