About Me
Hello! I am a student studying in Brussels, Belgium for the spring semester and traveling throughout Europe for the summer. I love taking weekends from Brussels and wanted to try out couchsurfing as a new way to explore cities and meet people! So I am very new to this but very excited. I am a political science student focusing on law and international relations (hence my staying in Brussels). I love to read, make art, listen to music, go out, and travel. I live in a small hippie town in North Carolina called Asheville. When I am back in the U.S. I hope to being hosting to extend my couchsurfing experience!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope to meet like-minded people and gain new experiences. I think that meeting locals is a great way to experience a city and I am always excited to share experiences with fellow travelers. I enjoy traveling with friends and meeting new ones and I think couch surfing provides an opportunity to do just that!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of Appalachian folk music because it reminds me of my roots :-) I also enjoy jazz, gospel, and hip-hop! But mostly happy to listen to anything. I love watching and seeing movies and I am working hard to read more during my travels this year.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Cuba when I was sixteen and met some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. I hope to return in 2017.
