Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I had the opportunity to stay with a very nice family in Cambodia through Couchsurfing last year. I had lovely moments so it made me want to host people from all over the world as well.
It's far more rewarding and funny than staying in a hotel by ourselves.
You get to know a place by the people living in it and you get to be happy in those places by sharing moments, and a house with them.
Well I would have said "share a couch" but it's quite confusing right?
