Overview
About Me
I've been living in Santiago, Chile ever since I was born here, in La Florida. I studied English Literature in Universidad de Chile and I've been teaching languages ever since. I've travelled a fair amount (hitchhiking and on buses/planes) around Chile, Latinamerica, and the world. Now planning to do a Master's Degree on literature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I'm a people person. I love meeting new people, conversing, hearing their stories. I like traveling too, so it's a good chance to get to know other people's couches..
Interests
My thing is languages for sure. I'm a little a bit of a language nerd, a fun one, though. I love learning new languages. I'm also recently into dancing, especially "latino" rythms like salsa and reggaeton. I love reading and I've done some writing now and then. Some friends and I recently started broadcasting a local radio program/podcast on Mapuche news with a fun twist called "Wallmapugrama".

Music, Movies, and Books
Love reading and writing! "Los Detectives Salvajes" is my personal fave novel. I'm a megalomaniac, so I listen to pretty much everything: salsa, rock, pop, reggaeton, ranchera, cumbia, hip hop music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A 10-day silence vipassana meditation retreat in the Chiloe Island in 2015. A 21-day Mapuche language inmmertion summer camp the same year. A 1-week hitch-hike from Santiago to Patagonia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a good cook and conversationalist. So I can offer an very nice (Chilean) meal and a good talk about life and its intricacies.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, France, Germany, Peru, United States
