I am an Archaeologist from Germany, traveling a lot for the job as well as in private, love to be on the road and love to meet new people. I am open minded and curious about getting to know new locations and the people living there. When travelling I enjoy adventures as much as laying on the beach or having nice food. I love to be around people who laugh a lot together and like to discover the local areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of living in an open-minded world ad in my eye s there is no better way to get to know those open-minded people is just staying with them, cook with them and laugh with them. Couchsurfing should be way more than just a free place to crash for a night or two. It should be about getting to know each other, at least a bit, learn something from the others and most important of all, laughing and having a great time together.

Interests

As long a I can imagine I love Music and Sports. When I became older traveling some kind of got in my life, no idea how that passion started :-D My Job as a Archaeologist was a ideal way to combine my personal interest and a prof. career in culture, languages and history.
I just love spending my whole summer at Musicfestivals, Camping an having a great BBQ , playing the guitar, just relaxing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Over the last years I got more and more a fan of series like breaking bad, vikings, better call Saul and all the action-crime-comedy like castle an stuff. But once in while I like a good comedy or fantasy movie as well.

I am really open-mindet to all different kinds of music, but I would have to choose heavy metal and Rockmusic would be my choice (not the screaming stuff ;-)). But luckily there is no need to choose so Classic, Pop and, Moviethemes, Instrumentals ... are awesome as well :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept in my tent like a drunk baby while a hungry Grizzly Bear destroyed our camp searching for food :-D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you my beautiful Town of Kiel, the place to be if you are into sailing, swimming and maritime culture. we have tons of nice little cafes and a lot of great places to see in the area like vikingage settlements and other funny stuff :-) We could do some little Trip in my 30 year old VW Van a well.

If you are into nice and good food, cooking would be great thing to spend the evenings :-)
