Because Im realising that the best exchanges are those with sincere intentions of sharing ones world openly and genuinely, and offering kindness and generosity to others is the best way to receive kindness and generosity. My sons also both really enjoy the opportunity to meet interesting people who pass through our home and into our lives, and we all still have many fond memories of the friends we have made through our couchsurfing journey.
Meeting new faces and interesting souls is an adventure in itself.
Im excited to meet and experience as many cultures as the world wants me to, discovering the beauty and the colour and diversity of our universe, learning little bits of your language and tasting some of your favourite flavours of 'home' if you so kindly would share my kitchen with me. Its the heart of the home after all!
Ours is a vegan home, and we are all foodies. I love to learn new delicious recipes so if you have a vegan meal idea then "hook us up!!" We would love to see what yumminess you can share!!
If there is any other way you feel you would like to contribute to our little 'home bubble' then please just say so, we love and appreciate all helping hands and generous participation.

*** By the way, I hate to add a negative vibe here, but, I think I need to just point out, that my profile clearly states that "last minute requests" are NOT okay with me, and by that I actually mean I need more than two, three or even four days notice. I'm a mum, and I work, and this is a home which we LIVE in, so making allowances in our lives for hosting guests actually means a little bit of preparation and organising of our world, and our lives.
Also, I would like to point out that this is not a hostel or a B'n'B, this is our home!, and you will need to supply all your own food, drinks and personal requirements. I have limited bedding but will try to manage to have beds ready for you but this may not always be possible.
