Hi! I am a 23 year old girl from Oosterzele, a small town near Ghent, Belgium. For the past nine months I have been living in Barcelona, Spain. Cause that is what I love to do: getting to know new people, cultures and learning/speaking different languages.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Simple: I want to get to know new people, places and cultures. There is no better way to do that than to share a house with a local. Got an experience like that in Norway (not through couchsurfing though); stayed at a local's place for a week and got to know so much about the country, the local habits and a little bit of the language. So much more than a tourist who would stay at a hotel/hostel. That's why I really want to try out this platform as well to get the chance to stay at a local's place again!

Favorite music: i like a wide range of music. Elektronic, (indie) rock, pop, reggae, ... but most of all I like hiphop/rap.
Movies: I like a lot of movie genres so it is hard to pick one favourite movie.. Maybe I will go for 'Good Will Hunting' than
Books: I has been a long time since i read a book, but when I was younger I loved to read books!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Living abroad in Spain. Has given me the chance to meet people all over the world (which has learned me a lot about different countries and their habits). I also learned a lot about myself. Got more independent. I experienced a freedom I had never experienced before. Etc.

I can teach you some words in other languages. Cause that's one of my passions. I especially love to teach people/to talk in Sign Language/Spanish/German. Talking in any other language than my own is fun :-D

Since I am traveling to Brazil I would love to learn a little bit of Portuguese/about Brazilian habits.
