Hello, my name is Anna Rose!
Though you probably can't tell from my pictures, I've never been an adventurous person. I'm the 9th child of 10, and I've always been very shy and introverted. A year or so ago, I discovered rock climbing, met adventurous people who would take me out on hikes and climbing expeditions with them, and slowly discovered that I was in fact capable of exploring the outdoors.
I live in California, and every type of environment is practically right outside my door. From the desert to the ocean, from the forests to the snow, I've got a myriad of adventures to choose from.
I'm taking a break from school for now after having received my associates degree, and my goal for these next few years is it have as many experiences as I can before heading back to school for my bachelors degree.

My two sisters married Brits and currently live in England, which means I have a good excuse to hop across the pond. Their homes make a good starting platform for any travels around Europe I'd want to have.
My goal through Couchsurfing is to explore Europe through connecting with people who know the best way to enjoy and appreciate their hometown and make some friends in the process.
I also want to gain more self-confidence and I think that by proving to myself that I can plan trips to Europe and be well prepared, but also learn to go with the flow and take every day as it comes, I'll be a much more courageous and well-rounded person.

I love rock climbing, playing music, singing, eating good food and drinking good wine, jumping into the ocean, and good conversation.
