Overview
About Me
Hi there!
I am Noémie, a cheerful graduate student from Paris. Now that I am done with my studies in Environmental Sciences and Environment, I find myself in the need of challenging myself and getting out of my comfort zone. This is why I am travelling to New Zealand for the first time from November 2018 to... who knows!
Travelling solo is to me the absolute way to learn about yourself and the others. I am hoping to meet a lot of new and amazing human beings through this trip.
I am active and enjoy being with people, something that I have nourished from my previous trips around Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to make the most of my trip by meeting a lot of new people, and to get the closest to the actual way of life of the country I am visiting.
I am looking forward to discovering this country from the inside.
Interests
Something that characterize me is that I feel deeply concerned about the environment, and hope to discover the history and amazing wildlife that New Zealand can offer.
I am also really into sciences (biology, physics, cosmology...), and writing, two passions that I mix to write thriller, sci-fi, and realistic novels and short stories. I'm actually a published author back in France!
I love music cinema as well, I play the guitar and the ukulele, and I feel that music is one of the only thing that truly UNITE people. Music, and... food of course. What's best than making your own food, and to share it with the people you love?

Music, Movies, and Books
British bands (The Smith, The Beatles, Coldplay) are my favorite.
I'm an absolute fan of the Lord of the Rings, Chris Nolan, and Guy Ritchie, only to cite them.
