About Me

I'm 20 years old, studying Chemical Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. My study is locked till august because I was serving in the Brazilian army as second lieutenant, but I decided to quit the military service and focus in my chemical Engineering career.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My mother hosts people with couchsurfing since 2011. I lived this experience, because I lived with her till 2013. I always thought it was a huge opportunity to meet different people of different cultures and a great way to travel the world and share experiences. Now that I have a free time until august to restart college, I planning to realize my dream of travel the Europe using couchsurfing.

Interests

I always say to my friends: I would like to live thousands of years, so I could have all the hobbies and study everything a college offers. Since history and philosophy until physics and medicine. But since it's impossible... yet, I had to chose some. So I really interested in chemistry, physics and science in general. I also like to talk about music, books and movies, a little about computes games, table RPG and practice sports, mainly running, tennis, chess and aeromodelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's impossible to me to talk about Music without saying Iron Maiden. I grew up listening to them. But currently, I would say my taste is eclectic. I like listening to classical music wile studying, Jazz wile reading and drinking tea and pop wile just fooling around in the nootbook. so it depends.
For me, the best thing to read is popular classic literature. The Count of Monte Cristo, Dracula and Great Gatsby, for instance, are some of the best readings I ever had.
I not a fan of Movies. I prefer much more read a book. But to explain my taste, I would mention Scar face, Scent of a woman, Breakfast at Tiffany's and something a little different: Gladiator.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's really hard to say just one Amazing thing I've done, because almost everything you do in the army is Amazing. But I guess the biggest one was having 42, sometimes 87 men under my command, being responsible so they could learn every thing a Brazilian soldier needs to know.

Teach, Learn, Share

I my vision, there's no way you should stop learning in your life. Life is a constant learning process. So I would be completely open to know more about everything around the place I staying.
By the other side, I willing to tell everything I can about the culture of my country, my philosophy and to teach anything interesting that I know.
