I love to watch animated series, just as much as reading and discussing issues regarding philosophy and history. After 20 years of my life, I had realized that it would be a shame to not try out anything besides my comfortable life in Warsaw, so I decided to drop out my law studies and the University of Warsaw and try living in a different country. My friend invited me to live at the place in London so I landed just there. After a couple of months, I came back to Poland with a hunger for different experiences and I applied to study in Amsterdam. I am feeling wonderful surrounded with people from different cultures, as it constantly challenges my perception of reality. I listen to weird hip-hop recorded by a bunch of teenagers in a basement and I can not stand rock and metal classics, but I am aware of the fact it is tough to justify my position on that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This platform creates opportunities to interact with people from all over the world, which is basically as the cool concept as it can get. I really love the fact that it is based on human kindness and curiosity instead of purely financial incentives. Also, one gets to know people who live in a given place so time spent there is more fullfilling than in case of touristic endeavors. Unfortunately, currently, I am not able to share my very own space with others, but as soon as I get it I will surely invite others to sleep over, as I know how amazing experience it is and how helpful can it be when it comes to traveling with low budget.

Interests

I am deeply interested in current affairs as long as I can remember. Understanding the dynamics of the ongoing transformation of the world gives me a lot of pleasure. I love to watch animated series and movies. After binge-watching Bojack Horseman for the second time I started to watch Gravity Falls and it is also amazing. I am not following the football as closely as I used to, but still I am really engaged in the developments on this World Cup!

I found the strentgh in myself to leave the comfort zone in which I have been operating for the most of my life and I decided to move to London for a while, despite the hard circumstances :))
