Well, as we know there is not just one me. But some characteristics of this person called Michiel. A 26 year old dutchie, whom loves to go for adventures far away and close by. I love spontaneous plans and doing sports. My bike is my most precious belonging. I have biked to Berlin and to Croatia (and back). Right now I am travelling through southern Europe and hopefully getting towards central Asia.
The trips were great experiences and couchsurfing made it even better. Furthermore i love to hitchhike around, because you never know where you will end up and you meet a lot of different people. I like to learn and explore new things and i think couchsurfing helps me to realize this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet locals and explore the foreign counrty/city in a whole other way. To broaden my horizon, meet people I wouldn't usually get into contact with and learn from and enjoy every encounter.
