Overview
About Me
I'm a brazilian student in a exchange in France, studying architecture and urban planning. I've been here for almost an year now and doing this has changed my life in ways I could've never imagined. To me, getting to know other people and cultures makes us wealthy in a very good way and give our lives a real meaning.
Plus, I really like helping people, in any way I can, because I believe a human existence is only fulfilled and significant if we can improve other people's lives, whether in big or small scales.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since the experience of Couchsurfing consists of discovering new people and new places, I think that suits pretty well for me. Travelling and having conversations are two of the greatest thing we can do to know better the world we live in.
Interests
I'm interested in philosophy, political sciences, anthropology, architecture and urban planning (mostly to find out how people live and make their own cities, so to find better solutions for our spaces), travelling, reading, talking, listening and sharing experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: blues, jazz, soul, rock, classical music, swing, technoswing, etc. I'm very open about discovering new ones.
Movies: hard to chose a favorite one, but I love independent movies and classicals from around the world.
Books: hard to chose too, cause I love so many. I'm mainly reading philosophy and books from Nobel Prize winners for now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's more what I've lived than what I've done. Since the beginning of the year I've been going to the "Calais Jungle", a refugee camp in northern France and this gotta be one of the most outstanding experiences I've ever had. Finding out the stories of these people and to see how kind they are, even though they're suffering, it's unbelievable and give me energy to help and try to change the world, little by little.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been a portuguese teacher for a while, but I can teach french and english too. I know some things about painting techniques.
I'm willing to learn everything people have to teach or share with me.
I like to share experiences, have conversations about several areas of knowledge, mainly philosophy, political sciences, architecture, anthropology, movies and books.
