Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

Even though I am a poor student, I don't want it to stop me from traveling. I think that traveling is the best way to discover yourself and the people who live around you. And that´s what I find is the biggest advantage of Couchsurfing. You get to know the city and the people much better, compared to staying in a regular hotel.
My experience with Couchsurfing is improving every year, as I try to travel as much as possible!
My favourite country is Ireland and I´d love to travel throughout the whole Emerald Isle as well as the rest of Europe (and eventually rest of the world).

Interessi

Music! I am the second biggest music fan I know - the first is my sister Anežka, who is also my best travel buddy. I love going to concerts and festivals.
My second biggest obsession is coffee. I love speciality coffee and cute little local cafes. I try to visit at least one cafe in every city I travel to. If you want to make me really happy, show me some good local coffeehouses.
I do also like psychology as I currently study it at university. I find the human mind fascinating. That´s why I like travelling so much, you get to know more people.
And I like helping people. I used to volunteer in a leisure centre for people who have experiences with mental disorders.
I am also a big book and movie fan.

Musica, film e libri

As I already said, I am obsessed with music. My favourite genres are folk, blues, indie pop and alternative rock, but I can listen to almost everything. It´s really hard to pick just a few, but some of my favourite bands/artists are Jack White (The White Stripes), Ben Howard, Kings of Leon, Mumford & Sons, The First Aid Kit, Muse, Chet Faker and many more. I've been also discovering a lot of electronic music (like techno and house) because it's always a good party.

Also, movies! I love almost every movie by Christopher Nolan (such as Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Memento), by Tim Burton (such as Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, etc.) and by David Fincher (Fight Club, The Social Network). Some of my other favourite movies are Atonement, Moulin Rouge or Into The Wild.

Books just briefly. My favourite writers are Neil Gaiman and Chuck Palahniuk.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I've finally managed to go on a student exchange to the United Kingdom, which was my dream for many years. I am now back from my stay in Southampton, where I stayed for 5 months and lived the best student life.
